The Gypsy Chef
The Gypsy Chef is a London-based chef who focuses his menus and culinary activity around his Romani heritage. Attending food and music events and available for hire, he promotes simple food with the freshest, locally sourced ingredients.
We were commissioned by The Gypsy Chef to create a series of illustrations to accompany his writings and recipes. Due to the heritage nature of the content that we were illustrating and the rustic feeling of the food we decided to produce the images using a traditional printing technique - lino cutting.
