NAWA Media provides training resources targeting grassroot media activists, online verification enthusiasts, media professionals and journalism students.
We were initially tasked with the design of a new versatile graphic identity that could be applied in both English and Arabic. This was an obvious challenge and required substantial research, especially regarding the typefaces we choose.
Using the new identity we designed an interactive website to host a series of courses that would be developed by NAWA Media's team. The courses focus on fact checking, investigative reporting and other citizen journalist related activities. We designed a structure that allowed the courses to be broken down into weeks, each week containing a series of topics for participants to complete. These resources include slide presentations, video and audio content, infographics and reading materials for which we designed templates in both Arabic and English to ensure the identity was consistently applied across all media.
